Have you ever had the experience of sitting down to work on a project and realizing hours later that you have been so busy taking care of other things that you never started?
As an entrepreneur you have a lot of potential distractions that can steal your focus and time. What you really need is a way to be able to choose your priorities and focus on completing them.
You can do this by starting your day with the power of intention.
Step 1: Take a deep breath and visualize the day before you. Read your vision statement or something brief and motivational.
Step 2: Choose 3 words that reflect how you want your day to go or how you want to be as you move through it. Words like effective, flow, inspiring, confident, fun, focused, and inspiring are examples of some my clients have used.
Step 3: Use your three words to form an intention for your day. Start it with the words – “I am”.
Step 4: Choose what you want to focus on and use your intention to start the process of completing your day with grace and ease.
